At least after he retired!

Travel

CostaRica.JPG

Hawaii many times, Alaska, Egypt, Costa Rica twice, Europe (only this sweatshirt from Cornwall though). Note the No Army tee from Costa Rica, with a lot of wear on it!

CNPS and Environment

Some souvenirs of his heavy involvement in CNPS. You can see the shirt on the far left in the wedding photo on another page.

Don called the picture (Streptanthus callistus) on the aqua shirt Mick Jagger's tonsils.

These are for Edgewood Natural Preserve, where he (we) weeded and were docents; Carrizo, which we always visited in good years; and the White Mountains, a CNPS camping trip.

Politics

Dean.etc.JPG

Above left, appropriately, is one from his involvement in Berkeley or union politics. It came in handy in early November 2020. Don was an enthusiastic Deaniac; we attended Congressman McNerney's swearing-in Jan 2007.

Music

LAPhil.etc.JPG

Many annual trips to Los Angeles for the LAPhil with Dudamel conducting, they offered a lot of teeshirts! Also above are a couple funny ones from the Berkeley Early Music Festival.
